Arrive Srinagar and then our journey begins to picturesque Sonamarg and then to Kargil.
Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from Vijay memorial hall.
From Kargil onwards you are at Ladakh passing through Line of Control passing through Batalik Sector and reaching Fotu La at 13,000 feet and into Lamayuru where you have the oldest monastery which looks like OM !! from top.
Our journey then proceeds to Leh, followed by amazing picture perfect Pangong and Tsomoriri Lake.
We then take picturesque Manali route going via world’s second highest pass at Taglang La at 17,484 feet, Baralacha La and then to Sarchu and Jipsa before getting down into Lahaul Valley at Keylong. Beyond Keylong, we pass through Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley and ultimately reach Manali.
This breathtaking route offers one of the best landscape views ever and must for every traveler.

Day 01: Srinagar – Kargil 204 Kms / 6-7 hrs
Morning After breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Drass Village (2 Coldest Inhabitated place in the World), Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from Vijay memorial hall, reach Kargil by evening. O/N Kargil.
Day 02: Kargil – Ule via Batalik 178 Kms / 6-7 hrs
Morning after breakfast leave for Ule by visiting / crossing Batalik (one of the most famous war zone fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with Pakistan at this place) this route is also opened for tourist in 2010,Silmo, Dha, Beeama (it’s a lovely village of the Aryans who still lives there), Reach Ule by Evening. O/N Resort.
Day 03: Ule – Leh 72 Kms 3-4 hrs
After the Breakfast drive to Leh enroute visit Alchi monastery, Magnetic hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. O/N Leh.
Day 04: Leh – Nubra Valley 120 Kms / 4-5 hrs
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by afternoon. Lunch at Camp, rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. O/N Nubra Valley.
Day 05: Hunder – Tyakshi – Hunder 160 Kms / 5-6 hrs
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place captured by Indians in the war of 1972 with Pakistan, enroute visit Tyakshi(it is the border which divides India and Pakistan), reach Hunder by evening. O/N Nubra Valley.
Day 06: Hundur – Leh 120 Kms / 4-5 hrs
After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery, explore the place where one of the unique features of the landscapes in Nubra is the sand dunes between Deskit and Hunder villages and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight Hotel.
Day 07: Leh Local 104 Kms / 6-7 hrs
A Complete day of visit to the monasteries. After breakfast drive to visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries, Stok Palace Museum & Sindhu Ghat. Return to Leh in the evening. O/N Leh.
Day 08: Leh to Spangmik 140 Kms / 4-5 hrs
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world) Arrival at Camp, Hot Lunch will be served aat Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N On the banks of Pangong Lakes.
Day 09: Spangmik – Man Merak – Leh 180 Kms / 6-7 hrs
After Breakfast drive from Spangmik to Man Merak also opened for the tourist for the first time in 2010 after that drive back to Leh with the sweet memory of Man Merak which is also a border which divides China and India. Back to Leh by evening. O/N Leh.
Day 10: Leh – Nyoma – Loma – Nyoma 200 Kms /6-7 hrs
After breakfast drive to Nyoma(first time opened for the tourist in 2010) via Mya bridge passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) along the Indus river, visit the beauty of the village whole day, later visit to last village from Indian side at Loma. O/N Nyoma.
Day 11: Nyoma – Tsomoriri Lake 90 Kms / 3-4 hrs
Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri lake. Spend your evening on lake by leisure walk on the banks of lake. O/N Korzok.
Day 12: Tsomoriri – Tsokar – Sarchu 260 Kms /10-11 hrs
Early Morning drive to Serchu passing Puga (Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, Skyang chu Thang Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms, Enjoy your pack lunch at Pang, post lunch leave for Sarchu by crossing Nakeela and Lchung La. Arrive Sarchu by evening. O/N Sarchu.
Day 13: Sarchu – Manali 222 Kms /10-11 hrs
After the breakfast drive for Manali, a beautiful scenic drive by crossing Baralacha La (4845m), lunch at Sissu village, later cross famous Rohtang Pass, 13050 ft. Arrive Manali by evening. Drop at Hotel / Manali Bus Stand. Journey ends here.

Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We strives for cost effectiveness by having a maximum 6 guests and hence initial amount collected is based upon that. It might so happen that the number of people might become smaller than expected. Himalayan Fantasy representative will get in touch with guests within 15 days of the departure date on the final group size.Thus, the differential amount need be paid by guests due to this change.
Booking must be confirmed 20 days prior to date of departure by paying the full amount – It takes lot of effort, time and money in planning the tours in remote locations due to terrain and logistics involved. You would appreciate that it causes lot of inconvenience to people staying there due to cancellation as they would have reserved the hotel/lodges for us.
All expenses accruing from change in schedule due to weather conditions or health issues are to be borne by the guests. Himalayan Fantasy would not be responsible for the weather changes or personal health issues. We shall take adequate precaution and always check the weather condition in advance, but cannot say.
Cancellation policy – While we strive to plan everything for you well in advance, enabling your trip to be hassle-free and fun filled. Implication is that fees, permits, accommodation expenses need to be paid in advance at those locations and in most cases they would not refund to us. Any cancellation would be inconvenient and loss to all those who were involved in making your journey memorable. Considering the cascading effect you would appreciate that it is fair that the cost has to be borne by you. However, our policy on cancellation would be as under:
- Cancellation prior to 20 days from date of departure : Full Refund
- Cancellation between 19 days to 15 days prior to date of departure: 50% Refund
- Cancellation between 14 days prior to date of departure and departure date: No Refund
- No Show : No Refund
What kind of clothing is required?
Kashmir climate varies across the country. One can be in shorts and Tee shirts andw within a few hours of travel, might require woolen wear. Normally, there is always fluctuation in temperature all the time even in the same location. Depending upon the month you select, the temperature varies. Generally, in Kashmir you see different temperate zones as we travel from Srinagar to Leh and back. In summers, the weather would be pleasant 25 C and in winters like in Drass or Nubra, can go to -40 C.
What kind of hotels are we going to be put up? Would they be neat for the price being charged?
The hotels would be standard category. Standard here refers to a well furnished, clean and hygenic and food is of good quality. We don’t compromise on boarding and lodging and ensure that the hotels meet the set criteria.
Can we use mobile phones at these locations?
You will find mobile towers across Bhutan. But at higher elevation, the network might not be good. You would require Bhutan SIM card or International roaming facility to use mobile in Bhutan.
Can we charge mobile phones?
While staying in hotels at all locations, we could charge the mobile phones.
How would be the quality of the roads at these locations?
Kashmir roads are very good at most of the places but not that good in few places. However, at times, due to landslides which is a common feature in these locations, the roads might not be in good conditions. The local administration does everything to restore, but then might not be adequate. Thus you might experience bumpy rides at certain places. The guide would keep you informed about road condition.
What if the road is cut off or blocked? What should we do?
There is nothing to panic. We shall provide you with information on how the condition of road is on the day of travel to these high altitude places. If the road is blocked, we shall work out a different itinerary to ensure that you enjoy the holidays stress free and without hassles.
Can we get children on board?
Children above 6-8 years are certainly welcome and they would certainly enjoy the nature.
What kind of food is available in these high altitude places for eating?
Most of these places, the religion is Buddhist and follow Tibetan culture. In Leh and Ladkah, you get Rice, Roti, Sabz, Daal at all towns and then would be a good idea to try Tibetan food like momo and noodles.
