What is in Nepal?
For over forty years or more, Nepal has been an extremely fascinating destination for travelers, scholars, and researchers. For those interested in culture, the Kathmandu valley, is endowed with seven World Heritage sites. This valley was divided into three kingdoms less than a century ago. It now contains countless architectural monuments, and vestiges of varied cultural and religious traditions.

Kathmandu the capital of Nepal has lot to offer in terms of Palaces, Temples and Monasteries. Apart from wonderful Palace and Darbar Square, it also has a great shopping and scenic places where time just flies past and travellers delight.
Thamel area in heart of city has recently emerged as the most popular tourist destination. Being approachable by 15 to 20 minute walk from the center of Kathmandu. Thamel has clean narrow streets full of mushrooming lodges, hotels for budget travellers. Restaurants, bars and other tourists oriented shops can be seen bustling with activities.
Patan (The city of beauty) is situated on the southern bank of the holy river Bagamti (a tributary of the Ganges) some five kilometers southeast of Kathmandu. Nowadays, it has virtually become part of sub metropolitan Kathmandu. The city is famed for its wealth of Buddhist and Hindu temples with an abundance of fine bronze gateways and wonderful carvings. Patan is known for its expert craftsmen and metal workers.
Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. Formerly called Royal Chitwan National Park it was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984.
Duration : 5 Nights & 6 Days – Kathmandu to Kathmandu
Day 1: Kathmandu
• Arrival in Kathmandu, assist and transfer to Hotel by Red Rose representative.

Day4: Chitwan activities

What if the locations on itinerary changes while on tour? Will there be refund for not showing them?
Due to changes in weather conditions, strike or communal disturbances the itineraries need to be changed instantly. Our representative would take care of ensuring that they provide different options at that time. However, we would not be able to refund the amount where the locations were not covered due to aforesaid reasons as these are beyond our control.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We strives for cost effectiveness by having a maximum 6 guests and hence initial amount collected is based upon that. It might so happen that the number of people might become smaller than expected. Himalayan Fantasy representative will get in touch with guests within 15 days of the departure date on the final group size.Thus, the differential amount need be paid by guests due to this change.
Booking must be confirmed 20 days prior to date of departure by paying the full amount – It takes lot of effort, time and money in planning the tours in remote locations due to terrain and logistics involved. You would appreciate that it causes lot of inconvenience to people staying there due to cancellation as they would have reserved the hotel/lodges for us.
All expenses accruing from change in schedule due to weather conditions or health issues are to be borne by the guests. Himalayan Fantasy would not be responsible for the weather changes or personal health issues. We shall take adequate precaution and always check the weather condition in advance, but cannot say.
Cancellation policy – While we strive to plan everything for you well in advance, enabling your trip to be hassle-free and fun filled. Implication is that fees, permits, accommodation expenses need to be paid in advance at those locations and in most cases they would not refund to us. Any cancellation would be inconvenient and loss to all those who were involved in making your journey memorable. Considering the cascading effect you would appreciate that it is fair that the cost has to be borne by you. However, our policy on cancellation would be as under:
- Cancellation prior to 20 days from date of departure : Full Refund
- Cancellation between 19 days to 15 days prior to date of departure: 50% Refund
- Cancellation between 14 days prior to date of departure and departure date: No Refund
- No Show : No Refund
Passport / Permit requirement for Nepal? What documents are required?
For Indian nationals a valid Indian passport or voters ID card is required if you are traveling by road or flying into Kathmandu International Airport require Passport for entry.
The crossing points from India include Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi and Nepalgunj in the west, Sunali, Birganj and Kakarbhitta in the east. Please bear in mind that everyone has to change buses at the border whether they book a through ticket or not, and that despite claims to the contrary, there are no tourist buses on either side of the border. You can board direct buses to the Nepal border from Delhi, Varanasi, Calcutta, Patna and Darjeeling. From the border, you can board Nepali buses to Kathmandu.
For school student or children – Original Birth certificate is required or Valid Passport (any one).
Note: Driving License / Pan Card / OCI card is not accepted as travel document in Nepal for children
